We started among Corrientes Avenue's theaters, bookstores and historic pizzerias, then crossed 9 de Julio toward the political center. By the time we reached Plaza de Mayo, Jael had connected entertainment, immigration and urban development into one coherent story. It was an excellent introduction to downtown Buenos Aires.

At Plaza de Mayo, Jael clearly distinguished the Cabildo, Metropolitan Cathedral and Casa Rosada, then explained the May Revolution and the Mothers' marches with care. The history was detailed without becoming overwhelming, and there was enough time to look closely at the buildings and ask follow-up questions.

Jael was warm and easy to talk to. San Telmo and Caminito were the highlights for us. Jael gave us a very useful orientation to Buenos Aires. We moved from Plaza de Mayo and the Pink House to the older streets of San Telmo, the colorful atmosphere of La Boca, and the modern waterfront at Puerto Madero. Each neighborhood felt different, but her explanations connected them.
