Buenos Aires Highlights and Recoleta Cemetery

A great first look at Buenos Aires, from Plaza de Mayo to Recoleta Cemetery.

Patri made the different neighborhoods easy to understand, especially the contrast between San Telmo and La Boca.

Well planned, informative and not rushed.

We saw so much in four hours: the Casa Rosada, San Telmo, Caminito, the Obelisk and Recoleta Cemetery. Patri kept the day moving while still stopping for questions and photos, and her local stories made each neighborhood feel distinct.

The cemetery was the highlight for us. Walking among the mausoleums and hearing the stories of Eva Perón and other influential figures gave the visit much more depth than exploring alone.

A very good overview of the city with a comfortable private vehicle between the main areas. La Boca was colorful and lively, San Telmo felt historic, and Recoleta brought everything together with its architecture and stories.

Patri was engaging and flexible. She adapted the amount of walking to our group and explained the history behind Plaza de Mayo, including the Casa Rosada, the cathedral and the Cabildo. Recoleta Cemetery was an unforgettable finish.

Excellent mix of landmarks, neighborhoods and history.

We enjoyed seeing Buenos Aires' different personalities in one tour. The immigrant and working-class history of La Boca, the antiques and old streets of San Telmo, and the grand mausoleums in Recoleta all felt like part of a bigger story.

The itinerary was full but easy to follow. Patri knew where to pause for photos and gave us a clear explanation of the cemetery ticket before we arrived.

A memorable introduction to Buenos Aires. The view of the Casa Rosada from outside, the Eva Perón balcony, the Obelisk and Caminito gave us plenty of orientation, while the cemetery visit added the deeper historical layer we were hoping for.

Patri brought a lot of energy without making the tour feel hurried. We learned about tango and soccer in La Boca, colonial architecture in San Telmo and Argentina's political history around Plaza de Mayo. The cemetery stories were especially well told.

Very enjoyable and well organized.

This tour worked wonderfully for our first day. We got the major sights but also heard the human stories behind them, from immigration in La Boca to the women and political leaders remembered in Recoleta. Patri was attentive, clear and happy to adapt the route.

The combination of driving and short walks was ideal for our group. Patri showed us the main highlights, explained the historical background and left enough time to appreciate the details. Recoleta Cemetery is much more than a cemetery, and her stories made that clear.

Patri handled the busy itinerary very well. Plaza de Mayo, San Telmo, La Boca and Avenida 9 de Julio each offered something different, and the final walk through Recoleta Cemetery gave us a quieter, more reflective ending.

The cemetery admission is not included, so remember to budget for it, but the visit itself was excellent. Patri explained the mausoleums, the historical figures and Eva Perón's grave with real sensitivity. Combined with La Boca and San Telmo, it made for a very varied day.
