Historic Buenos Aires- City tour

A very clear, enjoyable walk through the old center.

Debora gave us a great introduction to Plaza Lavalle and Teatro Colón, then connected the buildings to the political history of Buenos Aires.

Good pace, beautiful architecture and plenty of useful context.

The route was well chosen and easy to follow. We saw the Obelisk, Florida Street and Plaza de Mayo, and Debora made each place feel connected instead of just ticking off landmarks.

I loved the balance between culture and history. The Teatro Colón was impressive, but the stories about how Florida Street changed from a colonial road into a busy commercial street were just as interesting.

A relaxed way to get oriented in Buenos Aires.

Debora was warm and very knowledgeable. Plaza Lavalle, the Metropolitan Cathedral and Manzana de las Luces gave us a wonderful sense of how the city grew from colonial institutions into a modern capital.

This was exactly the kind of city walk we wanted. We learned about Juan Lavalle, the conflicts of nineteenth-century Argentina, the Casa Rosada and the role of the cathedral, without the tour ever becoming too academic. Debora adjusted the pace for us and shared several helpful suggestions for the rest of our visit.

The historic center felt much more alive after this tour. Debora explained the architecture around Plaza Lavalle, the cultural importance of Teatro Colón and the events that shaped Plaza de Mayo. She also made time for photos and questions, which made the three hours feel very personal.

Interesting, friendly and very well organized.

I especially enjoyed Manzana de las Luces. It is easy to walk past without understanding its importance, but Debora explained the connections to education, religion and intellectual life in a very approachable way.

A strong overview of central Buenos Aires with a guide who clearly loves the city.

We covered a lot in a comfortable three hours. Debora brought together the Teatro Colón, Avenida 9 de Julio, Florida Street, Plaza de Mayo and the Metropolitan Cathedral with stories about immigration, European influence and Argentina's political life. It was informative but never felt rushed.

Debora was patient with all our questions and made the old city easy to understand. The walk through Florida Street was lively, and the final stop at Manzana de las Luces gave us a quieter look at the city's colonial past.

A lovely first afternoon in Buenos Aires. The landmarks were impressive, but the small details about the people and conflicts behind them are what we will remember.

The tour gave us a much better sense of Buenos Aires than a sightseeing bus would have. Debora explained why Plaza de Mayo became the center of Argentine political life and how the surrounding buildings reflect different periods. We appreciated the option to adapt the walking pace and the thoughtful local recommendations.

The route was excellent and Debora was very kind. We enjoyed the mix of grand avenues, historic squares and the less obvious stories of the old city, although the final section felt a little quick for us.
