Discover one of Buenos Aires’ most fascinating landmarks on a private two-hour walk through Recoleta Cemetery. More than a cemetery, Recoleta is an open-air museum where Argentina’s history, architecture and remarkable personal stories come together.
Walk through its maze of narrow passages and monumental mausoleums while learning about presidents, political leaders, aristocratic families and some of the most intriguing characters in Buenos Aires history. The tour combines the story of Argentina’s rise during the late 19th century with the symbolism and architecture of its elaborate family vaults.
The visit culminates with Eva Perón, whose extraordinary journey after her death makes her tomb one of the most visited sites in the cemetery.
Tickets to the Recoleta Cemetery are not included. The cost of each ticket is abour U$D15 per person to pay on site with the credit card.
